- For extracting broken dipstick tubes, a common issue onGM 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L & 6.2L Engines during engineservice.
- When the dipstick tube breaks off, a piece remains atentry point, located at the bottom of the engine block (nearthe oil pan).
- Use the extractor to thread into tube to remove.
- Use with #5401 Thread Adapter Tool and any standardthread (5/8″-18 TPI) slide hammer to properly remove thestuck dipstick tube.
