The STEELMAN 60635 Wireless ChassisEAR is a uniquediagnostic device specifically designed to pinpoint squeaks,rattles, and any other troublesome and errant noises acrossa vehicle’s engine, axles, and chassis. Ideal for diagnosingfaulty fuel injectors, bearings, gears, suspensions,transmissions, differentials and CV joints, and under hoods.Working as a high powered wireless stethoscope for your caror truck, each of the 4 independent transmitters can beplaced in a separate location around the vehicle using thebuilt-in clips and magnets or the included nylonhook-and-loop straps. These then transmit to the receiverallowing you to listen to the vehicle during standardoperation to hear noises that are difficult or justimpossible to duplicate in a repair stall. Each transmitteris assigned its own channel on the receiver and can beselected or muted individually to make pinpointing thelocation and cause of a noise easy. With a 50-foottransmitter to receiver range it is useable on all makes andmodels of cars and light trucks, as well as a variety oflarger vehicles. Kit includes 4 transmitters, 1 receiverunit, 1 set of mini earphones, 4 cable-leads/microphoneclamps, 12 nylon straps, 12 hook-and-loop straps, 6 AAbatteries, 16 AAA batteries, an organizer pouch, locationidentifier note pad, instruction manual, and a blow-moldedstorage case. *Since they operate on different frequencies,the 60635 series transmitters and receiver are notcompatible with 97202 versions.*
