This socket has been designed to remove the left and rightfuel pump retaining nuts on all late model Volvos.The retaining nut can be locked in place requiring a fairamount of force to release and the plastic retainingnuts are easily broken when improper tools are used. Thistool also gives easy access to the XC90?s lefttank unit retaining nut without removing the large frameunder the seat bottom saving the technician about1 hour versus using the taller factory tool.
